My life has one direction

I love London because the first time I went there was with me dad. We went to London for one weekend and everything was so beautiful there. Every building there makes you feel small and I’m not so tall so I felt like I didn’t belong in a big city like London. That feeling changed fast because I fell in love with the city. One of things I liked the most was the subway. I couldn’t believe that all those people came together in one hall without looking ones to each other. You can go anywhere with the metro, and you see so many different people in one small environment.
One other thing I love in this big city is the beautiful places it has. Covent garden, the London eye and don’t forget Harold’s. We have seen all those places. Everything was so beautiful and magical. I still remember the night that my dad and I had dinner in Convent garden, not that I would ever forget. All kinds of people were performing, and they came out of nowhere. There was a guy singing in Covent Garden. I think he was 17 years old and he looked like a bad boy, you know the kind you don’t want to fall in love with but you do it anyway. I was 15 at that time and I didn’t know one girl that had less self-confidents then I had. Actually it’s still that way but that is something I’m going to tell you later on in this story.
Anyway, my dad was ordering our dinner, but in mean while I was peeking at the singing boy. We were almost finished with our dinner but I was still waiting for my dessert (chocolate cake, hmmm). I was looking at the boy and he looked my way. I was blushing and turned my head the other way. My dad is a smart man and he sees everything, that’s very annoying, especially with moments like this. My dad is also a person that loves a good joke and loves to tease me. He saw that I was blushing and he stood up. He walked to the boy and whispered something and walked back to his places. ‘Dad, what are you doing?’ ‘Nothing.’ was his answer but his smile made it that I didn’t believed it.
The boy walked my way with his guitar (did I mention that mister bad boy had a guitar?) and started singing. I think I have never been so embarrassed in my whole life but on the other side I actually really liked it. That was the first time that a boy looked at me. He was 17 so he didn’t look at me like boys of my age usually do, but not laughing about me was more than enough. When he was done with singing, my dad offered him a seat at our table. The boy looked at his watch. ‘Why not.’ was his answer.
He introduced himself as Zayn Malik. ‘So Zayn how old are you?’ my dad asked. ‘I’m sixteen but I turn next month 17.’ ‘And how long are you singing?’ I asked carefully. ‘I don’t know but it has been a long time.’ My dad looked surprised at me, because I’m not a person that would say something when I don’t know him or her. ‘You should, sing in a competition. You know, X-factor or something like that, you’re a good singer.’ I said on a normal volume. He looked at me and I could see he was thinking. ‘Maybe that isn’t a bad idea.’ he answered. I started blushing, again.
‘As long as you don’t forget me.’ I answered with a laugh. The moment I noticed what I said, I stared at the ground. I thought Zayn would laugh about me stupid answer but he didn’t. He only smiled, so I guess he liked my strange joke. ‘Do you have a pen for me?’ he asked. I nicked and gave him the pen I had in my bag. He grabbed a napkin and wrote something down. He gave me the napkin. ‘When you need a good idea to.’ he said. On the napkin stood his phone number. He looked on his watch and stood up. ‘Sorry I have to go, my mom is going to kill me if I’m late.’ he said and he walked away fast. That is where this story started.
